You will enjoy the entire lower level and amazing space. Light floods into the great room. There are 2 bed / 1 bath to recharge & rest. This is truly a CITY RETREAT that is amazingly just 5 to 20 minutes from Scotts Addition, VCU, VUU, U of R, The Fan, VMFA, MCV, Johnston Willis, St. Mary’s, RIR, Maymont, Lewis Ginter, Short Pump, Midlo and more. When you are in-residence, the sounds you hear above your guest suite are not ghosts 🙂 but the permanent residents (your hosts) of the upper unit.

The space
You will find great green spaces outside with a year-round running creek that comes all the way from the Chesapeake Bay. There is a sun drenched great room with a 55″ inch TV and boardroom like dining table. You’ll find two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower (no tub) and a full sized washer and dryer for your convenience. Outside, of course, there are chickens that live in their coop and henhouse. Inside, you may hear our Jack Russell terrier mix, scampering about the floor above your guest suite.

Guest access
You can reach the wonderful Joseph Bryan Park and area restaurants (Bellevue and Lakeside) within a 10-20 minute scenic walk through a gardenlike residential neighborhood. There is parking for 2 cars. Primary parking is in your reserved space in the lighted gravel section and for a 2nd vehicle of visiting guest, there is another space in the main parking section in front of the large recycle and garbage bins. The other spaces are for the hosts. There is on street park about 1/4 block away.

Other things to note
The City of Richmond picks up garbage weekly, early Monday morning. They pick up recyclable trash bi-weekly on Monday’s. They also pick up yard debris / brush / leaves on a weekly basis, if we have any. We often do, since there is year round gardening and pruning.
